Dr. Tarek Hasan Al Mahmud is a Professor in the Department of Information and Communication Technology at Islamic University, Kushtia, Bangladesh. He has more than 15 years of academic and research experience in advanced communication systems, signal and information processing, antenna systems, array signal processing, machine learning, data science, and AI-backed technologies. His research focuses on 6G communication systems, antenna beamforming, direction of arrival estimation, coprime arrays, multi-antenna communication systems, green technology, AI-based audio and image processing, and data-driven intelligent systems. He has also served as a postdoctoral fellow at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, The University of Hong Kong, and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
